CATHEDRALS AND US

 Cathedrals, Temples and Us

I’ve recently returned from a trip visiting the great cathedrals in Europe and the pilgrimage sites of Lourdes in France, Fatima in Portugal and Santiago de Campostella in Spain - the end of the El Camino Trail. I saw incredibly beautiful displays of the passionate love for God that artists displayed.

.

This morning I thought about how we each carry within us a cathedral - no, actually we are a cathedral that houses the living God. For we’re Christ-bearers in our homes and communities. Like any activity we do it best when mindfully focused and so from time to time it’s good to remind ourselves of this privilege.

Miraculously the living God dwells within us!

Another opportunity I enjoyed on this trip was lots of time for contemplation - some of the usual thoughts like who am I in relation to our amazing  God. The questions my late husband often wrote about are also relevant. Why am I here? What is my purpose? Where am I going? Each of us needs to ponder these at some point in our lives.

My 14-year-old puppy was very happy to see me when I returned and I him! I'M FOREVER GRATEFUL  FOR THE GREAT CARE my friend Linda gave Miles when he was ill.

July 30th will be three years I have survived without Wayne, the man I never wanted to live without. It certainly hasn’t been easy, but God, and only God, has made it possible.#WidowsLoveStory #JesusTimeLoveNotesOfWonderAndWorship.

"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? "1 Corinthians 6:19

"You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, in fact the spirit of God dwells in you " Romans 8:9
